Wilmington Charter faced Salesianum in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Force fell just short of the Sallies by a score of 3-2. The Force's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Wilmington Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Salesianum, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilmington Charter will host Archmere Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Salesianum, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Conrad Science at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
