Baseball Game Preview: Lamar Christian Lions vs. Hattiesburg HomeSchool Forerunners

The Lamar Christian Lions will venture away from home to face off against the Hattiesburg HomeSchool Forerunners at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last four games Lamar Christian has played (dating back to last season) have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

It was a proper cat-fight when Lamar Christian faced off against Coastal Mississippi Homeschool on Friday. Lamar Christian skirted past Coastal Mississippi Homeschool 8-7.

Meanwhile, Hattiesburg HomeSchool came up short against Sylva Bay Academy on Monday, falling 13-7. The Forerunners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Miles McHan made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in both of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Daniel Tapp, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Lamar Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Hattiesburg HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
