Volleyball Recap: Palmview Lobos vs. Mission Eagles
After flying high against Roma last Tuesday, Palmview came back down to earth. The Palmview Lobos took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mission Eagles on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lobos of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 24-26, 25-16, 25-22.
Miley Zieske paced Palmview's offense, picking up 14 kills. Zieske got some help from
Arizona Gauna and her 11 assists.
Kylie Cantu controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Palmview's defeat dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Mission, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 27-7.
Palmview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Martin on the 29th. Mission does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
