Tularosa extended their winning streak to nine on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 11-5 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 14-13 W against the Cobre Indians. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by just one run.

Hunter Sewell was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That triple was his first of the season.

As for Cobre, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by just one run.

On Cobre's side, they got a massive performance out of Jesus Lopez, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Alvarado, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Tularosa will have a chance to go back-to-back against Cobre: the pair will be back at it again later today.
