            Baseball Recap: The Master's Academy Lions vs. Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders        
        
		
        
        
            After only two  runs in their last  contest, The Master's Academy made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Bethel Christian Academy  on Friday. The Master's Academy blew past Bethel Christian Academy 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won five matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.

 Mason Hunter made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. Those  six  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run. That  triple was  his first of the season.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Sawyer Waugh, who  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. He is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last four games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Jordan Cook, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-1.
 The Master's Academy was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bethel Christian Academy only posted a  batting average of  .067.
The Master's Academy's record now sits at 5-2. As for Bethel Christian Academy, their loss was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 3-4.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Master's Academy will head out to  take on Christian Family Academy  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Bethel Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to  face off against Victory Christian  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
