Football Preview: Altus Bulldogs vs. Guthrie Bluejays
The Altus Bulldogs will take on the Guthrie Bluejays at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Altus will head into Thursday's contest out to bounce back: they came back down to earth on Thursday after soaring to a 21-point matchup in their last game. They fell just short of Noble by a score of 16-14. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Guthrie). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Western Heights 72-0 at home. Considering the Bluejays have won five matches by more than 26 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Guthrie wouldn't let Western Heights keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Guthrie can thank Justin Harper and Eli Plagg for forcing both of them.
Altus now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Guthrie, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
