Softball Recap: Dunkerton Takes a Loss

If Dunkerton was riding high fresh off their 9-1 takedown of Colo-NESCO on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders fell just short of the Rockford Warriors by a score of 6-5 on Friday. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 9-6.

Dunkerton's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Rockford, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dunkerton will take on Riceville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rockford, they will head out to challenge Nashua-Plainfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
