They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the De Anza Dons 48-6 on the road. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row dating back to last season.
Gabe Casanovas had a dynamite game for St. Vincent de Paul, throwing for 207 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Joseph Edwards was Casanovas' top target, picking up 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
St. Vincent de Paul wouldn't let De Anza keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. St. Vincent de Paul can thank George Chaput and Rob Rooks for forcing both of them. Rooks' also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks, forcing a fumble, and making three total tackles (2.0 for loss). Hudson Kensic was another major factor on D, making 11 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
St. Vincent de Paul will take on Truckee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for De Anza, they will host Berkeley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
