After losing to Ridgewood the last time they met, Riverside-Brookfield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs breezed past the Rebels to the tune of 51-12 on Friday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-0.

Braeden Novak threw for 133 yards and three touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes. Jayden Karas was his top target, picking up 94 receiving yards and a pair of scores. On the ground, Jacob Retana rushed for 82 yards on only seven carries.

Although Ridgewood took the loss, they still got scores from Angelo Vitale, Alex Hrabchak, and Frank Horak.

The win was the third in a row for Riverside-Brookfield, bringing their record up to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 42.3 points this season. As for Ridgewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-2.
