Basketball Game Preview: San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines vs. Jewish Community Wolves

San Francisco Waldorf has gone 9-1 against Jewish Community recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines will venture away from home to square off against the Jewish Community Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

San Francisco Waldorf is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Gateway on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. San Francisco Waldorf lost 74-50 to Gateway. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Gators recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the loss, San Francisco Waldorf got top-tier performance from Micah Gowe, who went 7 of 8 on his way to 19 points. Those 19 points gave Gowe a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Appel, who posted six points.

Meanwhile, Jewish Community lost to Drew on the road by a 62-45 margin on Thursday.

Jewish Community has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for San Francisco Waldorf, they now also have a losing record at 4-5.

San Francisco Waldorf strolled past Jewish Community in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 54-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for San Francisco Waldorf since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
