Basketball Recap: Tigard Comes Up Short

Tigard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 49-24 to the Oregon City Pioneers. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th, while the Pioneers are ranked 65th).

Tigard's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Oregon City, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tigard will head out to face off against Tualatin on Tuesday. As for Oregon City, they will challenge St. Mary's Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
