Baseball Recap: Waynesville's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Waynesville came into Tuesday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Parkview Vikings on Tuesday as they made off with a 10-3 victory. The Tigers' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last six games.

Justin Zuber was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-5. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Carson Sutphin, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Waynesville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Waynesville picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-8. As for Parkview, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
