Softball Recap: Eau Claire Memorial Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Eau Claire Memorial's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eau Claire North Huskies on Tuesday. The Old Abes haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Eau Claire Memorial saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lindsay Duerkop, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.

Eau Claire Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Eau Claire North, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

While Eau Claire Memorial had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
