Basketball Game Preview: Fort Frye Cadets vs. Harvest Prep Warriors

Fort Frye is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They took down Belpre 52-35.

Meanwhile, Harvest Prep entered their tilt with Federal Hocking on Thursday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They strolled past the Lancers with points to spare, taking the game 71-56.

Fort Frye better keep an eye on Maliyah Lofton. She was instrumental in Harvest Prep's win, dropping a double-double with 19 points and ten assists. That's the most assists Lofton has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Janay Carter, who put up 12 points and six boards.

Harvest Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive matchups.

Fort Frye's record now sits at 20-4. As for Harvest Prep, their record is now 12-13.
