Basketball Recap: Oklahoma F Picks Up Ninth Consecutive Win

Oklahoma F entered their tilt with Dallas HSAA on Saturday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They walked away with a 54-44 win over the Dallas HSAA Angels. Given the Flame's advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 48th in Oklahoma, while the Angels are ranked 141st in Texas), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dallas HSAA lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being MiaGrace Delahoz, who posted eight points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Elissa Singleton, who had six points and six boards.

Oklahoma F's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Dallas HSAA, they moved to 22-5 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Oklahoma F didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 41-38 win against Dallas Thunder on the 25th. As for Dallas HSAA, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 47-44 victory against Fort Worth THESA on the 25th.
