Watauga is a perfect 10-0 against Freedom since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Pioneers will face off against the Patriots at 5:00 p.m. Watauga is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.

Watauga is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Hibriten just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1.

Watauga's goal came courtesy of Morgan Flynt, who's now up to eight this season.

Meanwhile, Freedom might've scored the first goal on Wednesday, but it was Ashe County who claimed the real prize. The Patriots lost 5-2 to the Huskies. Freedom's loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Watauga's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-4-1. As for Freedom, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1.

Everything went Watauga's way against Freedom in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Watauga made off with a 9-0 win. Do the Pioneers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
