Basketball Recap: Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Comes Up Short

Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 59-35 to the Fayetteville-Perry Rockets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Jays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 73-33 back in January.

Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Fayetteville-Perry, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing East Clinton the next time they take the court. Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington will head out to face East Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Fayetteville-Perry will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
