Basketball Recap: Platteville Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Darlington, Platteville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Lancaster Flying Arrows by a score of 69-58. The Hillmen have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Flying Arrows, too.

Platteville's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Lancaster, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

Platteville won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pecatonica at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pecatonica knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matchups -- so hopefully Platteville likes a good challenge. As for Lancaster, they will take on East Dubuque at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
