It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but El Campo had no problem doing just that on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Royal Falcons 3-2. That's two games straight that El Campo have won by just one goal.

Orinson Artica and Landon Smith scored all three of El Campo's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 45 goals.

El Campo is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 68 goals over those 12 contests. As for Royal, their loss dropped their record down to 20-4-1.
