Volleyball Recap: Cleveland Gets the Win

With a playoff win on the line, Cleveland rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Holly Springs Golden Hawks. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Golden Hawks: they've now won four in a row.

Cleveland was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 18-25, 25-13.

Addison Evans had another great game (as she tends to do), getting nine digs, three aces, and one block. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 18 or more in each of the last 57 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Emma Lawson, who had ten digs and seven kills.

Cleveland's win bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Holly Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-8.

Cleveland has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Cardinal Gibbons on the 25th. Holly Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
