Soccer Recap: Whitewater Takes a Loss

Whitewater was the 2-1 winner over Monroe when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Whippets fell just short of the Cheesemakers by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Whitewater have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Whitewater's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-2. As for Monroe, they moved to 6-5-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Whitewater is set to square off against their familiar foe Evansville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Monroe will challenge rival Edgerton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
