Hillcrest (Springfield, Mo.) beat 
Joplin (Mo.) 41-22 thanks to dual threat quarterback 
Matt Rush, who threw two touchdown passes while running for two more.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Rush to 
Cole Skidmore in the first quarter, the Hornets were up 21-7 at the half.
Hillcrest grew its lead to 20 points entering the fourth quarter. HHS scored two times in the third, including once on a Rush touchdown run.
Juwan Johnson and Rush ran for a bunch of touchdowns for the Eagles.
A 21-9 Hillcrest victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
	
The loss comes after Joplin defeated Parkview 38-21 last week. The loss ended Joplin's two-game winning streak.
Hillcrest (2-1) will play a Ozarks game against West Plains next week, while Joplin (2-1) will take on Rolla also in a Ozarks game.
