Basketball Recap: Archbishop McNicholas Takes a Loss

Archbishop McNicholas lost against Chaminade Julienne Catholic back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Archbishop McNicholas Rockets were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to the Chaminade Julienne Catholic Eagles.

Archbishop McNicholas' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charlie Clark, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Gunnar Bates, who put up seven points.

Archbishop McNicholas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chaminade Julienne Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Archbishop McNicholas will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Badin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Chaminade Julienne Catholic, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Chaminade Julienne Catholic Eagles take on the Bishop Fenwick Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
