Volleyball Recap: South Garner Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Garner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Fuquay - Varina Bengals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bengals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-12, 25-12.

Kylah Bratcher paced South Garner's offense, picking up three kills. Bratcher got some help from Player #11 and her four assists. Shytel Major controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

South Garner's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Fuquay - Varina, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 10-11.

South Garner wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Southeast Raleigh on the 9th. As for Fuquay - Varina, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Garner on the 9th.
