Baseball Game Preview: Mosley Dolphins vs. Bozeman Bucks

The Mosley Dolphins will challenge the Bozeman Bucks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Mosley is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Enterprise just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 4-0 to the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Bozeman entered their tilt with Wakulla on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the War Eagles.

Cash Zirkle was excellent, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Alex Goodwin, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Bozeman pushed their record up to 19-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Mosley, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Mosley has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.2 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Bozeman struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.3 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
