Basketball Recap: Dewitt Wins Going Away Against Central

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dumas, DeWitt was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 44-25 victory over the Central Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 52-24 back in December of 2024.

DeWitt now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Central, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

DeWitt will take on McGehee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Central Cougars take on the Dumas Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dumas will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Central surely won't give up without a fight.
