Soccer Game Preview: Washington vs. Atchison

Washington hasn't had much luck against Atchison recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Wildcats will head out to face off against the Phoenix. Washington has given up an average of 4.9 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Washington is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Wyandotte on Thursday. They lost 8-0 to the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Atchison came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Scots get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Atchison, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Atchison, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
