Clayton's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 14-11 victory over the Salem Rams. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Clippers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Clayton's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-9. As for Salem, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.
