Ector has gone 7-2 against Fannindel recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Ector Eagles challenge the Fannindel Falcons at 5:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Ector took a blow against Savoy, falling 53-24. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Fannindel had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 56-49.

Ector better focus on containing Korshonti Aubrey and Kor'Ziareona Aubrey as the pair were huge in Fannindel's win. Korshonti dropped a double-double on 18 points and 21 boards, while Kor'Ziareona went 12 of 28 on her way to 29 points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals. That makes it 21 consecutive games in which Kor'Ziareona has scored at least a third of Fannindel's points.

Fannindel smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in 16 consecutive matches.

Fannindel's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-16. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Ector, their loss dropped their record down to 12-20.

Ector was dealt a bruising 67-36 defeat at the hands of Fannindel when the teams last played on January 14th. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Aubrey, who went 13 for 27 en route to 30 points along with seven boards and seven steals.
