Ashton Sternadel posted a new career-high in passer rating on Friday. He threw for 210 yards and three touchdowns on only nine passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Calhoun's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 0-4 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Sternadel and Calhoun will be playing at home against Floresville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sternadel will face off against Drake Coronado, the Tigers/Jaguars' star quarterback.
