Baseball Recap: McMahon Takes a Loss

McMahon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the New Canaan Rams, falling 13-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in April.

McMahon's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for New Canaan, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Coming up, McMahon will venture away from home to take on Norwalk at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bears' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Senators' hitters will have their work cut out for them. New Canaan has already played their next contest (against Darien), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
