Softball Recap: Bellingham Blackhawks vs. Tri-County RVT Cougars
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Millis, Bellingham was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They skirted past the Tri-County RVT Cougars 5-4.
Bellingham saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trista Corshia, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly Proler, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Bellingham's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Tri-County RVT, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
Bellingham will head out on the road to challenge Norton at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Tri-County RVT, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Bristol-Plymouth RVT at 3:30 p.m.
