Baseball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Ross on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost five in a row.

Franklin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Leach, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Franklin now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Ross, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7.

Coming up, Franklin will face off against Dayton Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ross will be paying especially close attention to the Wildcats' game: after the Wildcats face off against the WARRIORS, they'll take on Ross again at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
