Softball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the West Springfield Spartans, falling 12-0. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-0 loss on Monday.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for West Springfield, their victory was their 14th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Spartans beat Edison by a score of 12-0 later that day.
