Basketball Recap: Wilber-Clatonia Takes a Loss

Wilber-Clatonia played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Freeman Falcons, falling 62-32. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Wilber-Clatonia lost, don't look at Aiden Zajicek. Despite the final result, he went 10 of 16 on his way to 23 points. Zajicek's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Wilber-Clatonia's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Freeman, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Wilber-Clatonia has already played their next match, a 48-37 loss against Auburn on the 25th. As for Freeman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-57 victory against Bishop Neumann on the 25th.
