Soccer Game Preview: Alliance vs. Padua Franciscan

The Alliance Aviators will head out on the road to challenge the Padua Franciscan Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Alliance had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Madison on Wednesday. The Aviators never let the Blue Streaks get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for Alliance, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Padua Franciscan made sure to put some goals up on the board against Garrett Morgan on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 9-0 victory. The result kept Padua Franciscan happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 6th.

Their offense was hitting Garrett Morgan from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Garrett Nowicki led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Alliance's win bumped their record up to 11-4-3. As for Padua Franciscan, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2-4.
