Baseball Recap: Huntsville Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Huntsville's offense. They came up short against the Montgomery Bears on Friday, falling 7-0. That's two games in a row now that the Hornets have lost by exactly seven runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Huntsville and nudges their season record down to 13-15-1. As for Montgomery, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-10-2.

Huntsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Montgomery, they will venture away from home to square off against Brenham at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bears 3.9, the Cubs 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
