Softball Recap: Franklin Knights vs. Jamestown Mighty Muskies
Franklin extended their losing streak to 16 on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-16. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jamestown Mighty Muskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mighty Muskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-4 back in April.
As for Jamestown, they moved to 5-9 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since March 30th.
For Jamestown's part, the team relied heavily on Reese Robertson, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Kelley Enterline also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
