Baseball Recap: Bellingham Bayhawks vs. Lakewood Cougars
Bellingham won the last time they faced Lakewood and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bayhawks came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 9-4.
Kai Nelson made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Nelson was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one stolen base.
