There's no place like home for West Brunswick, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the North Brunswick Scorpions by a score of 8-4 on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Scorpions last Tuesday, they had to take a 9-6 defeat.

Brooklyn Somers was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

West Brunswick hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 3-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

West Brunswick's record is now 7-11. As for North Brunswick, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-9.
