Basketball Recap: Augusta's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Augusta had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 55-51 W over the Alma Center Lincoln Hornets on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Beavers: when they faced off against the Hornets back in December of 2024, they had to take a 65-44 defeat.

Augusta's victory bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Alma Center Lincoln, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Augusta will be playing in front of their home fans against Osseo-Fairchild at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Alma Center Lincoln has already played their next contest (against Melrose-Mindoro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
