Dane Alexander put up the most runs he's had since back in May of 2025 on Thursday. He got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against St. Louis back in April of 2025, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Alexander is becoming a predictor of Clare's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-4 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Alexander and Clare will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Sacred Heart Academy at 10:00 a.m. The Pioneers will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 166 places lower in Michigan), but they're not letting that get them down.
