Softball Recap: Ouachita Wins Going Away Against Jessieville

The third road game was the charm for Ouachita, as they earned their first road win of the season. They blew past the Jessieville Lions 17-0 on Thursday. The Warriors have beaten the Lions the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Lions has come to flipping the script.

The team relied heavily on Haley Eudy, who scored a run while going 3-for-5. Mylee Crow was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

Ouachita always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .707. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Jessieville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ouachita will welcome Bismarck at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Jessieville, they will be playing at home against Baptist Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
