Latino College Preparatory Academy won the last time they faced El Primero and things went their way on Friday too. The Golden Eagles were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the Lobos. Considering the Golden Eagles have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
YADIRA ADAME made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. ADAME was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, JOCELYN LOMELI and ANDREA SANCHEZ did most of the damage at the plate: LOMELI went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while SANCHEZ went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles.
