Latino College Preparatory Academy won the last time they faced El Primero and things went their way  on Friday too. The Golden Eagles were the clear victors by  a  17-1 margin over the Lobos. Considering the Golden Eagles have won six matchups by more than five  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 YADIRA ADAME made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing three innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. ADAME was even better at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and two  doubles. Those  two  doubles gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  JOCELYN LOMELI and  ANDREA SANCHEZ did most of the damage at the plate:  LOMELI  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI, while  SANCHEZ  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and two  doubles. That's the most  doubles  SANCHEZ has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  VALERIA MACHADO, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Latino College Preparatory Academy was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .773. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
Latino College Preparatory Academy has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 16.8 runs over those games. As for El Primero, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Latino College Preparatory Academy is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Summit Shasta  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, El Primero will  take on  rival KIPP San Jose Collegiate  at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
