Volleyball Recap: Nazareth Academy Comes Up Short

Nazareth Academy lost against Oak Park-River Forest back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Roadrunners fell 2-0 to the Huskies.

Among those leading the charge was Kate Bailitz, who had nine digs and two assists. Sophia Sood also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Nazareth Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Oak Park-River Forest, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Nazareth Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Downers Grove South on the 13th. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Joliet West on the 13th.
