Softball Recap: Lavaca Golden Arrows vs. Hector Wildcats        
        
		
            
 Lavaca won the last time they faced Hector, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Lavaca Golden Arrows walked away with  a   6-2  victory over the Hector Wildcats.
  Macie Irby was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out ten batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits. Irby was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  doubles and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Mayli Stockton, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Lexie Rogers, who  went 2-for-4 with a  triple and  an  RBI.
 On Hector's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Addie Boley, who  went 1-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 Lavaca's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 10-5. As for Hector, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost five of their last six games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lavaca will take on County Line at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Lavaca's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6  runs per game  this season, so County Line's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hector, they will be playing at home against Western Yell County at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Hector is facing Western Yell County at the right time seeing as Western Yell County is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
