Volleyball Recap: Hot Springs Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Hot Springs was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Hatch Valley last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Cobre Indians on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-14.

Taylor Littleton paced Hot Springs' offense, picking up six kills. Littleton got some help from Bristol Riggs and her six assists. Reagan Riggs controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The loss snapped Hot Springs' winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 12-8 record. As for Cobre, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Hot Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Hatch Valley on the 30th. As for Cobre, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Socorro on the 1st.
