The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hampton Roads Academy in their matchups with Catholic: they've now lost seven in a row.
Catholic's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashton Walker, who scored 22 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Walker hasn't dropped below 15 points for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Pissis, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds.
Hampton Roads Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for Catholic, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-7.

Hampton Roads Academy is coming into the game with three straight losses on the road, meaning Cape Henry Collegiate will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Catholic, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 79-75 victory vs. Virginia Academy on the 10th.
