Softball Recap: Oakdale Takes a Loss

Oakdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 5-1 to the Sacred Heart Trojans. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Oakdale's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Sacred Heart, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Oakdale didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Hicks on the 2nd. As for Sacred Heart, they will challenge Cecilia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
