Basketball Recap: Logan/Palco's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to 14

Logan/Palco put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Triplains/Brewster Titans 87-25. That looming 87-25 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Logan/Palco yet this season.

Logan/Palco was led to victory by Rhett Kats and Case Ashmore. Kats went 13 of 18 on his way to 28 points along with eight boards and six assists, while Ashmore went 9 for 15 en route to 19 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals. The match was Kats' 16th in a row with at least ten points. Ethan Gaschler was another key player, going 6 of 7 en route to 13 points.

Logan/Palco smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Logan/Palco's win bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Triplains/Brewster, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Logan/Palco will face off against Wheatland-Grinnell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Logan/Palco's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games. As for Triplains/Brewster, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Logan/Palco at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th.
